Mike Hagerty is involved with the Kids First Fund, an organization that helps children in the Muscatine Community School District participate in school activities they could not otherwise afford. The Kids First Fund provides items such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, and activity fees, gas cards to make college visits possible, and more. He also is active in several other organizations, including his local FFA chapter, the AJ Magnus Home and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Jackie Wicks is involved with Tori’s Angels, an organization that provides support to central Iowa children battling life threatening illnesses or diseases. Her work with the group began when her granddaughter, Tori, was the first recipient of the foundation. Jackie helps with fundraising, organizing events, and counseling parents, as well as many other activities to support the organization. She also serves on the Angel Council. Kirstin Anderson participates in several youth programs in her church, mentoring middle school and high school students and taking part in mission trips. While on a mission trip to Jamaica to support the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf, Anderson and her husband helped establish the Deaf Can! Coffee Social Enterprise program.
